Construction of new homemaker centre in Forbes after the previous building was destroyed by fire. Hines Constructions worked alongside Forbes Shire Council in delivering the project.
The rebuild was construction on the existing slab, that was the only thing left after the fire. The building was a combination of precast concrete panels and colorbond cladded steel structural steel. New electrical and mechanical systems were installed as well as a complete internal fit out.
Building features include 1176 sqm showroom space, storeroom, kiosk, tearoom, and staff amenities. Overall, the space had a fresh and modern finish that would be the new home of a retail tenant, which will be a fantastic addition to the Forbes community.
