Design and Construct.
Hines Constructions worked with Facility Design Group in the designing of the new aquatic centre. The centre had to sufficiently satisfy the needs of the local community and we feel the completed project is testament to this.
The project included construction of a new concrete/tile 50m Olympic swimming pool, kid’s splash pad featuring water toys, indoor 25m learn to swim pool and associated plant room. The building that surrounds the 25m pool includes hydronic heating. The amenities building features a commercial kitchen, toilets, his and her change rooms and administration offices.
With Corowa located on the New South Wales and Victoria border the project was heavy impacted with COVID-19 border closers. Our team worked tirelessly to make sure that construction didn’t stop and subsequently the project was delivered well ahead of the revised contract date.
