Design and Construct.
Hines Constructions worked closely with the Griffith City Council, Altus Group and Facility Design Group to create a design that would showcase the space and be utilised by the Griffith community.
At tender stage an option for a Myrtha pool was proposed by Hines Constructions as an alternative to a concrete pool. The council were happy to take up this suggestion which in time resulted in a reduced construction program by 8 weeks.
Works included demolition of existing facilities and excavation of the new 50m pool. Supply and installation of 50m Myrtha Pool and associated plant room. New amenities building including toilets and change rooms. External work included, concrete bleachers, shade sails, landscaping, concrete concourse and external restoration of the existing swim club building.
