Hines Constructions was engaged by Blue Mountains City Council for the Construction of the new and improved Katoomba Sports & Aquatic Centre.
The works included the replacement of the existing toddlers pool with the new learn to swim pool and toddlers splash pool. Construction of new plant room/balance tank and filtration system. Upgrade of existing 50 metre pool gutters, new ramp inclusion, new pool concourse and new shade structures.
Hard landscape works including elevated boardwalk and concrete pavements, lighting, concrete stairs ramps and sandstone retaining walls, handrails, drainage, waterproofing and earthworks to finished levels (allowing for soft landscaping by Blue Mountains City Council).
The works have upgraded the pool facilities and is now a new and improved space for the community.
