Project involved construction of 8 self-care independent living units at the Astill Court Retirement Village, Orange. The units featured two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a single garage. The units were built to accommodate aged tenants throughout all aspects, starting from the step free entry.
Hines Constructions completed an extension to the already existing internal roads, concrete paths, landscaping and external infrastructure. Works were also completed to the common recreational area of the village.
The project was built within a busy environment of the retirement village. The project team worked well with the client to plan construction activities within suitable time frames to minimise the disturbance to residents. The residents were regularly updated of major deliveries or works and they assisted by reducing the amount of unnecessary vehicle movements were possible.
