Hines Constructions Pty Ltd has been engaged to complete structural rectification works on a number of the heritage listed pavilions at the Bathurst Showground. The pavilions included; Beau Brown, Howard, Trevitt, CEC English, Sinclair, Don Leitch, Shearing Shed, and Lorraine Bennett Goat Pavilion.
Works varied across all the pavilions however majority of the elements included; new roofing and gutters, new footings, structural steel supports, column brackets, hardwood timber bracing, rafters and purlins, general repairs and restoration and new painting. Installation of emergency and exit lighting was also completed.
The works have been carried out within a live environment as the grounds have been continually used for holiday campers and farmers markets. The team worked well together to create a safe environment for the general public and our team.
By completing these works we hope the pavilions will continue to shine for many years to come.
