The construction of purpose built indoor cricket facility comprising of 4 indoor cricket pitches, home and away dressing rooms, Cricket Australia administrative offices, community facilities, kitchen and servery with cool room and cold room, storage areas for Cricket Australia and local clubs. Toilet facilities for the general public spectating at Wade Park. Total building area was 1640m2.
The build included demolition of the old greyhound facilities and betting area with removal of asbestos containing linings. Hines scheduled the defect free completion and handover 3 weeks ahead of the original program and 5 weeks ahead of the adjusted contract program. This also includes additional works of nearly $100,000.00 being added by the clients for external works.
